Training in Making and Using Computer Laboratory Attendance Applications
Kiarapedes State Vocational School, Purwakarta Regency
Abstract
Computer laboratories play a strategic role in supporting technology-based learning processes in Vocational High Schools (SMK). Optimizing the use of these laboratories requires effective management systems, including accurate student attendance tracking. At SMK Negeri Kiarapedes in Purwakarta Regency, attendance is still recorded manually, prone to data inaccuracy, manipulation, and difficulties in summarizing attendance records. Using a digital attendance application offers a potential solution to improve accuracy, efficiency, and ease of monitoring. However, limited understanding and technical skills in developing and implementing such applications remain a significant challenge for educators and laboratory managers. Therefore, training in the creation and utilization of digital attendance applications is expected to enhance technical capacity and support more effective, accurate, and orderly laboratory management, in line with the demands of technology-integrated learning.
